Have you ever wanted to signup for a service or newsletter but hate the spam?
Using a temporary email service allows you to create disposable emails at will, allowing you to keep your main inbox free of clutter and potential spam from signing up for new accounts or newsletters.
Here is a list of the 5 best free temporary email services available today.
Temp Mail is the best temporary email service that I have been able to find online. The user interface is great and you don’t have to refresh the page in order to view the latest emails. Temp Mail offers a great free service, but if you are interested in getting a more rich feature set, they do a have a paid Premium option.
- Fast, Easy to use user interface.
- Create as many disposable emails as you want.
- Ability to generate a new email address at any time.
- Starts at $10/month or $60/year if you buy a 1 year subscription
- Dedicated Premium Domains
- Up to 10 addresses at the same time
- 100% Private addresses with full ownership
- No ads and premium support
Up next on the list is GetNada, I have personally used GetNada many times to generate temporary inboxes and my favorite feature is the ability to create a custom email address from a list of domains. This is really helpful if you find that some newsletters won’t let you sign up with a specific domain. Using the domain dropdown can help you select a different domain that will help you sign up for the newsletter.
GetNada also allows you to create as many inboxes as you want. You can also delete an inbox.
The 3rd temporary email service on my list is EmailOnDeck. The reason that I included EmailOnDeck on the list is that it actually allows you to get a private email by default. Unlike many other temp email services where inboxes are easily visible for other users if they have the email address, EmailOnDeck’s temporary inboxes are private by default. You can also store the “email token” that can be used to retrieve each specific email inbox in the future.
MailSac is fourth on the list. This service is great because you can set a custom email address as long as it is for the domain “@mailsac.com”.
They also offer API access with 1,500 calls per month. If you are looking to setup private inboxes with custom domains, they have paid services starting at just $12/month.
10MinuteMail rounds out the list at #5. 10MinuteMail has been around for a long time (since about 2007 according to the service’s website), so you know that they will be around for the long haul.
The service is the most basic on our list, but it will help you create temporary email inboxes that last for, you guessed it, 10 minutes.
If you need more than 10 minutes, simply click the “Get 10 more minutes” and your temp inbox will be available for 10 more minutes.
That’s my list of the Best Free Temporary Disposable Email Services.
I hope this helps you limit spam and unwanted emails hitting your personal email inbox.
